Dr Arun L Naik is a senior consultant neurosurgeon and spine surgeon at Apollo Hospitals, Bannerghatta Road in Bangalore, India.
He had his medical graduation (MBBS) from Karnataka Medical College, Hubli.
He was trained in General Surgery (MS) from All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.
He was trained in Neurosurgery (MCh) at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi.
He has worked as consultant Neurosurgeon at several well known hospitals during last 14 years.
He has performed over 5000 spinal surgeries in last 14 years. He is specially trained in microscopic spine surgery, Minimal Invasive Spine Surgery (MISS) and spinal tumour surgery. He has special interest in managing earlier operated spine cases (Failed Back Surgery) which are really difficult and complex. He performed the first spinal navigation surgery in India in 2001 and has a large experience in this type of surgery. He has trained several neurosurgeons and orthopaedic surgeons from India and abroad in navigation surgery.
He has been invited for many national and international conferences and workshops to share his expertise specially in the field of minimal invasive spine surgery.
